Steelmind became the first Artifact God.
The announcement was made by the Sky God, immediately giving the fourteen new gods a status that was the highest among them all. The Sky God was technically higher than them, but that was only because he was considered the leader of the gods. Otherwise, they were each comparable to one another in status.
After the decision was made, they were given a few commands regarding what they had to do, the important one being that they had to show up for a match should someone worthy challenge them to a duel.
That would be the only way to pass along their title. If they failed to show up, their title would be passed to someone else.
They were also asked to show up at any meetings held in the Council of Gods, although this one wasn't strictly required. Still, the more gods there were, the better decisions they could make together.
