Han Mengli had just finished dispatching the first demon when two more demons appeared next to him, both stronger than the first one. One of them held a spear in their hand and the other one a whip.
At the same time, an arrow whistled at him again, this time aiming for his chest.
Han Mengli found himself unable to dodge the attack, so instead he decided to use it. He used the defensive technique at the last moment and let the arrow stab him in the chest.
His armor blocked the majority of the damage, the defensive technique stopping some of it. Pain stabbed through his body, the wind aura around it lacerating his skin, leaving red droplets of blood and flesh all around him.
The pain was strong, but the force of the attack threw him back far enough that neither the spear nor the whip managed to touch him. He rolled on the ground a few times before getting back up, ready to run away.
The two demons surged forward for him again, both using their skills to try and kill him.
