"I will try to get rid of these seals as soon as I can. When I'm done, I will come get your fruits and the seeds," Alex told the tree, his hand pressed against its massive trunk.
"I wish you quick success," the tree said.
Alex took his palm off the tree, now ready to leave.
Bladedance and the old man were already prepared to walk down to the shore, and the Guardian Tiger was ready to lead them as well.
"Young lady," the Tiger suddenly said. "She wishes to talk with you."
Bladedance raised her eyebrows. "The tree wants to talk with me?" she asked, moving forward.
"Press your palm against her trunk, and you will hear her," the Primordial said.
Bladedance took a deep breath before doing as told.
Alex and the old man waited for just a few seconds before Bladedance took her arm away. She stood there for a few seconds, staring at the tree before walking away.
"That was short," the old man said. "What did you guys talk about?"
"Nothing. Let's go."
