The cub's words roused the three from their stupor and they jumped onto the land. The sandy beach had nothing else growing on it, all nutrients it could provide swallowed into the tree that was growing.
Alex turned back around, watching the leaf silently floating on the calm sea. There were no waves in the sea, no turbulence.
He looked up at the canopy, trying to see signs of light. The canopy was so thick that there was absolutely no light breaking through them at all. The darkness persisted, but he believed he could see something up there.
Some objects dangled by the branches.
No doubt they were fruits of the tree. He would have to go in closer to look at what the fruits were like.
He walked over to the closest root to him and felt along its surface. He found the Elixir sticking to his hand again.
"We are correct, aren't we, Senior?" Alex asked the cub. "This tree is what is creating Elixir that is helping improve everyone's body cultivation?"
