"Dead?"
The council of gods began speaking out loud, their voices mixing over one another.
"What do you mean dead?"
"How did he die?"
"Who killed him?"
"Did he die in Hell?"
Alex could hear each and every one of the questions and waited for them to calm down a little before answering.
"To start with, I would like to clarify something that is already known, but I believe many of you don't believe it just yet. Godslayer was none other than Steelmind, the first Artifact God."
That truth had been revealed back in the final day of the Alchemy Tournament, but considering how few people talked about it, he was certain there were plenty of people that still didn't trust it very much.
"I heard about it. But… that can't be true, right?" the Defense God asked. "After all, Godslayer killed the Artifact God. Him claiming to be the Artifact God is nothing more than manipulation."
