There was a river behind the urban village, and beside it, a stretch of wasteland. Xu Fang had intended to find a place to hide, but he stopped short the moment he arrived. Over a dozen burly men were standing on the wasteland, all smiling at him. His pursuers caught up from behind, swarming to encircle him. All told, there were at least thirty men.
Seeing the situation, Xu Fang knew things had taken a serious turn.
Not far from the encirclement, a black Range Rover was parked. Inside, besides the driver, a man and a woman were seated in the back. The woman was young with a stunning figure. The man wore sunglasses, looked to be in his thirties, and was dressed in a suit with his hair slicked back, giving him the air of a big boss.
