Hmmm, been a real long while with this one. Honestly, I've had couple updates for it just sitting around for ages, not really continued much with it because I acknowledge a lot of my mistakes with this story, and I've went way off gamer system stories.
Especially since, I've started a different Avatar story, a Zuko insert I wanted to experiment with. I just started uploading it on here actually if you guys wanna go check it out. It's called A True Prince Of Fire. I've begun uploading it, alongside Power Quaking, an Oc-centric story following the Twin of Izuku Midoriya in Hero Academia if you want to check that out as well.

The bolt of lightning was so fast, I was left with very little time to react. In all honesty, if I hadn't had experience already with dealing with lightning bending in person thanks to facing off against the legendary Iroh…
It might have been game over for me.
Unlucky for the Sun Warrior Chief, I did have that experience.
My body flowed like water, legs spreading as I stepped into the bolt of blinding blue crackling power, two fingers coming up-
And catching the bolt of lightning in atop the tips. I felt, as power rushed through me. Felt the energies of lightning, and how it came to be flow through my flesh, my bones, my very blood as I brought my other hand up, two fingers already in motion as I allowed the lightning to flow through my and directed it.
I saw the Sun Warrior Chieftan freeze and stare at me in absolute horror as I pointed my crackling fingers at him, and then unleashed the lightning right back at him, far more powerful than the one he shot my way, enhanced by my own chi.
He turned to flee, but the bolt of lightning was too fast for him. And…struck the ground right in front of him in the blink of an eye before he could move.
It detonated in a massive explosion, and the chieftan cried out in pain as it washed over him and bodily lifted him up, flinging him through the air like a ragdoll.
I was already moving, blasting fire from my feet, I launched myself through the air. And before he could recover, I spiralled down in a series of flips, and drove a flame enhanced knee into his stomach.
His body folded around my knee, legs flailing into the air and spittle flying from his mouth. But even so, he glared up at me, pulling back with flames clouding his fist, showing the grit I'd expect of a guy like him-
But he was too slow as I drove my elbow into his nose, watching in satisfaction as it broke, and his eyes rolled up into the back of his head, and he went limp.
And as he did, a familiar feeling of strength rushed through more, and I felt myself become stronger as I once again levelled up.
Oh yeah~
That's the stuff.
I stood up from his body with a grin, "Well, that was fun." I laughed, stretching out my arms and turning to look up at Ty Lee who was casually inspecting the dozens of downed sun warriors.
"I thought you needed these guys to go find those dragons?" Ty Lee asked.
"Kinda…but honestly, not really," I shrugged, "I already know where to go, and thinking on it, I don't really need their permission or anything. Only the dragons matter."
In the end, the ritual to take the flame up to the dragons had been a failure on both Zuko and Aang's part, and I already understood the lesson they were supposed to learn.
That fire, was life.
Ty Lee shrugged, "Well, alright if you say so," she said, hopping down the stairs, "So we going to see them now then?" she asked excitedly
I grinned back at her, "Yeah, let's go then, we're headed over that way." I pointed over to two mountains towering in the distance.
Which I knew to be the homes of Ran and Shaw.
"Woo, let's go then!" Ty lee grabbed my hand and began dragging me down the stairs, completely ignoring the beaten up unconscious sun warriors.
_____________
It was actually quite the trek. Walking our way towards where Ran and Shaw lived, would have taken at least an hour.
As it was, it was much shorter for us.
Simply because I had a hot air balloon I could pull out as I pleased, so we could just fly our way over.
It still took a little bit to get there…but it left me with a little time to think. Not about the dragons themselves.
…But the feeling of lightning rushing through my veins. I already knew the process of lightning bending. Through separating negative and positive energies.
I just hadn't known how to go about that, what it felt like.
But now, after feeling the 'cold blooded fire' and directing it through my body. I was sure I could do it.
"We're here!" Ty Lee chirped excitedly, looking at me over her shoulder, from where she was hanging out of the balloon basket and taking in the sights below us.
I'll hold off on that of course for now. It wasn't safe to use it in my hot air balloon. For some reason, if you bent lightning wrong, it would explode.
…And it would also explode if it hit a solid object that was not a person either…for some reason.
I'm pretty sure electricity, lightning or otherwise, did not work like that logically. But, who am I to tell the magic fire generated lightning how it should work?
I made my way over to the controls of the balloon, and lowered us down to the ground, amongst the small village set up at the bottom of the twin mountains.
It was made up of mostly crude stone structures and large tents. And we got a few fearful glances from women and children peeking out of the tents.
Ty Lee of course was undeterred, hopping out of the balloon as we landed, "No worries, we're not here to hurt any of you, we're just here to meet the dragons." she waved at them cheerfully.
