In the pitch-black void, faint and imperceptible distortions swirled as Lilianna carried Ange and the others quietly onto the Plane of Plants. In a soft voice, she said, "This is the territory of Lord of the North Crown."
After speaking, Lilianna prepared to descend to the plane, but Ange stopped her: "Wait."
Negris furrowed his brows as he looked at the plant-covered plane ahead and said doubtfully, "Something feels odd, but I can't pinpoint what. Are these plants strange? Those plants are Demon Vines, aren't they? They should be able to grow in environments like this."
Demon Vines are plants capable of thriving in extremely harsh environments, with a life force as tenacious as demons themselves. Even in the Flame Demon's territory, amidst scorching lava, traces of them can still be found.
"Not plants. They're alive," Ange said.
