Now, thousands of years had passed, and the world was divided amongst many. Great Qin, a latecomer, had nevertheless overpowered the strong, accomplishing what no one had managed in millennia. For a time, Great Qin's reputation soared to an unprecedented peak. The names of Gu Xing, the Great Qin Saint Emperor, and Shen Changqing, the Great Qin Defender, once again resounded throughout the world. The former was now the Emperor of Great Qin; with the world unified, he was the sole Emperor. As for the latter, Great Qin's unification was entirely due to him. Had it not been for Shen Changqing, Great Qin would not only have struggled to subdue Great Liang and Dayue but would have been fortunate merely to avoid annihilation by them.
