The Dragon Beyond The Stars

Long before the first star was born…

Before galaxies spiraled across the universe…

Before even time itself had begun to flow…

There was only darkness.

An endless, silent void stretched infinitely in every direction. Nothing moved. Nothing lived. Nothing existed.

And yet, within that infinite emptiness, there was one being.

A celestial creature known only through ancient whispers.

Ryugu.

No one knew where Ryugu came from. Some believed he was the universe itself given form. Others believed he was the first living creature to ever exist.

What was known, however, was this:

Wherever Ryugu traveled, creation followed.

With a single breath, brilliant stars ignited across the void.

With a sweep of his massive wings, entire galaxies spiraled into existence like luminous storms.

Worlds formed from dust and flame, oceans gathered beneath alien skies, and life slowly began to bloom across the cosmos.

For countless ages, Ryugu drifted through the universe he had created, silently watching as existence unfolded before him.

Civilizations rose.

Species evolved.

Worlds flourished.

But even a being as powerful as Ryugu could not escape the slow march of time.

The light that once radiated endlessly from his body began to fade.

His once boundless strength weakened.

And the celestial dragon realized something that even he could not change.

His life was coming to an end.

As his final moments approached, Ryugu looked upon the vast universe he had created.

He could not allow his power to simply vanish.

So with the last of his strength, the great dragon divided his remaining energy into twelve fragments.

Each fragment contained a piece of his cosmic essence.

Small dragon spirits were born within them, guardians created from Ryugu's fading soul.

Then, with one final act, the celestial dragon scattered those fragments across a distant blue planet orbiting a quiet star.

A small world known as Earth.

The fragments disappeared into the world below.

Hidden.

Forgotten.

Waiting.

And with that final act…

Ryugu vanished.

Yet the fragments he left behind would one day shape the fate of the world.

For there existed a legend passed down through forgotten generations.

A legend that spoke of unimaginable power.

It said that if someone were to gather all twelve fragments and unite them…

They would obtain a wish powerful enough to change reality itself.

But power like that could never exist without balance.

Every wish comes with a price.

And some prices are far greater than anyone could imagine.

Thousands of years passed.

Human civilization slowly grew, spreading across the planet in countless kingdoms and empires.

And eventually…

The fragments were discovered.

Those who found them quickly realized that they were not ordinary relics.

Each fragment carried immense power — power that could reshape the world if used carelessly.

So the individuals chosen by these fragments formed a secret alliance.

A group that would later become known only through rumor and legend.

The Guardians.

For generations, the Guardians protected the fragments and ensured that none of them ever fell into the wrong hands.

Above all else, they followed one sacred rule:

The fragments must never be brought together.

Because if they were…

The consequences could be catastrophic.

For centuries, the Guardians quietly protected the world from the shadows.

But nothing lasts forever.

Two hundred years ago, a disaster struck the ancient order.

No one knows exactly what happened.

Some say a terrible battle took place.

Others claim something far worse occurred.

All that is known is that by the time the night ended…

The Guardians were gone.

Their sacred order destroyed.

The fragments scattered once more across the world.

Forgotten.

Hidden.

Lost.

Only one survivor remained.

Far from the crowded streets of the city, inside an abandoned building slowly being reclaimed by time, a small purple dragon floated nervously in the air.

Its name was Konton.

The creature flapped its wings anxiously as it looked toward the figure standing before it.

The man stood silently in the darkness, his face hidden beneath shadows.

After a long moment, he spoke.

"Konton."

His voice echoed quietly through the empty room.

"Remind me of something."

The dragon hesitated before answering.

"Yes, master?"

The man slowly turned toward him.

"What happens if someone gathers all twelve fragments?"

The dragon stiffened.

"You already know the answer to that question."

"Answer me."

Konton lowered its head.

"If the fragments are brought together…"

"The one who unites them will be granted a wish capable of bending reality itself."

A slow smile spread across the man's face.

"Just as I thought."

The dragon suddenly became uneasy.

"Master… why are you asking about this?"

The man ignored the question.

Instead, he raised a hand to his chest, where a faint purple glow pulsed beneath his clothing.

"Tell me something else."

"What power do you grant the one you choose?"

The dragon hesitated before answering.

"I allow my holder to grant power to others."

"To change them."

"To reshape them."

The man chuckled quietly.

"Perfect."

Konton's wings trembled.

"Master… what are you planning?"

The man's voice became colder.

"We are going to find them."

"All of them."

The dragon's eyes widened in horror.

"Master… you can't mean—"

But the man suddenly shouted.

"Enough!"

His voice echoed violently through the building.

"Those foolish guardians are gone!"

"I am your master, Konton!"

"You will obey me!"

The dragon shrank back in fear.

"But master… every wish comes with a terrible cost."

The man's eyes burned with madness.

"I don't care what the cost is."

His voice dropped to a whisper.

"Even if it means the destruction of every living thing on this miserable planet…"

"I will obtain that wish."

Konton tried once more to reason with him.

"But the fragments were scattered long ago! You may never find them!"

The man smirked.

"Oh, but I know where to start."

The dragon froze.

"Two fragments survived the disaster."

"Along with the last member of that pathetic order."

Konton's eyes widened.

"But how will you find someone like that?"

The man began to laugh.

"If that old fool truly believes in protecting the world…"

"Then we simply give him something worth protecting."

His smile grew darker.

"We will create chaos."

"We will turn people into monsters."

"And sooner or later…"

"He will come to stop us."

The man raised his hand.

"Konton."

The purple glow on his chest began to shine brightly.

"Transform me."

"Master, wait—!"

But it was already too late.

Dark clouds erupted around the man as the dragon was pulled into the glowing orb.

Shadows wrapped around his body like living smoke.

A deep purple cloak formed around him.

And beneath the hood…

Two glowing crimson eyes slowly opened.

Something terrible had awakened.
