As a coastal city, Kanla was similarly harassed by the Yaksha. The majority of its population had already evacuated into the Goryeo mainland.
Subsequently, large numbers of warriors and military forces were deployed, turning Kanla into Goryeo's frontline base to counter the Yaksha invasion along its maritime borders...
Previously, the Yaksha only sent small squads ashore, with the largest incursion numbering barely over a thousand.
But today, a massive Yaksha army descended upon them—over ten thousand strong. Upon reaching the Kanla coastline, their initial assault alone sent the Goryeo samurai army reeling in defeat.
Though Goryeo's military had stationed substantial forces in Kanla, when it came to close-quarter combat with the fearsome Yaksha, these soldiers were far inferior to the samurai.
