"What's happening to him, Kalkan? He was okay three days ago. He didn't look sick, and now he just tripped and has been comatose since. What kind of madness is that?" Nour asked as he looked at his mate.
They had both not left the king's side.
Zaire stayed there for Nour and his old father.
Nour was not sure he would be able to live life without his father. He had wasted so many years away, and this didn't seem fair.
It wasn't okay.
This wasn't how he got to be with his father after years of wanting to come out and be beside him.
"Baby…" Zaire trailed off softly.
He knew what was happening.
He had felt it since the wedding had been announced. He felt it when the king insisted on a sudden wedding instead of letting them do what they should do back to the capital as Lord Lucius and Protector Zaire.
But he never wanted to believe it.
