After releasing Matsuri, Karl was brought to the police station. When they got there, many police officers were surprised to hear what happened to Matsuri, especially Janice, who had been worried all this time.
After the initial shock of the report, Karl's parents were called. It didn't take long for the parents to arrive, and once they learned what their son had done, they were stunned into silence. They didn't know that their precious son was actually going through so many things and was forced to make such a drastic move.
Karl's father stepped forward and looked at his son in the eye. The father and son said no words, but it felt like they were having a conversation just by looking at each other. After a while, Karl's father finally spoke.
"You did nothing wrong."
Those were the only words his father spoke before leaving. Karl's mother hugged her son tightly, unable to say anything at all.
