Her smile was gentle and infectious, making people unconsciously feel good about her.

The two watched Jiang Nuan walk in the direction they pointed, chatting idly.

Jiang Nuan walked over and immediately saw a man sitting in a wheelchair. The light briefly shone on him, casting a slender silhouette. The blue and white striped hospital gown hung loosely on him, exposing the butterfly bones on his back. Jiang Nuan held her breath, her eyes widening in shock, unable to believe a person could lose so much weight in just a few days.
