Rong Yan looked at the caller ID, took a deep breath, and put the phone to her ear.
"Hello? Tomorrow? Um, I'm free tomorrow."
She walked outside while closing the door, "Mm, okay, him? I don't know if he's going to the office tomorrow."
Li Shengxiao saw her come out and asked in a deep voice, "Who called so late?"
Rong Yan lifted her eyelids and looked up, "Mrs. Jiang."
"She asked us to have dinner together tomorrow and asked me to bring you. I was just telling her I didn't know if you'd be free tomorrow."
Li Shengxiao stretched out his hand, indicating for her to hand over the phone.
Rong Yan hesitated for just a few seconds before handing the phone to him.
He took the phone, his tall figure walked to the window, the night breeze lifting the edges of his clothes. The silver-gray loungewear looked both noble and reserved on him. Even the bright moonlight gently rested on his eyes and brows, casting a soft glow over his sharply defined face.
"Hello, this is Li Shengxiao."
