The totally manly bellow - and not at all girly shriek- I released upon realising what I did when I jumped off of the mountain, drew a roll of the eyes from Pidgeot.

But as befitting of my starter, beyond said eye roll and a barking scoff, he barely even broke stride as he caught me upon his back and ferried me through the sky over to the other side of Fennel Valley.

As it was, my good mood was not at all bothered by what I did - progress? - and not long later, I was dropped off in front of the massive mausoleum that was home to a legendary pokemon.

As I returned Pidgeot to his pokeball and looked up at the ancient building, I couldn't help but whistle. It was really impressive looking. A grand stair case led up to a hallway opening before the main door, held up by massive pillars and in between each one were huge metal braziers inscribed with images of pokemon.

'Weird though, shouldn't this place be a historic monument?' I wondered. One would think places like this would be cordoned off from the public.

…But then, this world is rife with things like this. Has it got to the point where they just don't care anymore?

That didn't seem right considering those archaeologists Ash ran into during that point who were looking into Pokemopolis.

….Actually, if I remember right, the Regi trio Brandon caught, were all from ruins dealing with Pokemopolis, also known as Pokelantis. Including that psychotic evil king that tried to possess Ash when Brandon caught Regirock.

Actually, that ruin wasn't far from here actually. It wasn't far off from Pewter City.

And wait, the ancient temple ruins with the sealed giant Alakazam, Gengar and Jigglypuff aren't far off from Pallet town.

Hmm.

"Rotom, display a map of Kanto." I said, holding up gauntlet up.

"Acknowledged." Rotom replied, the screen on the back of my fist lighting up and displaying the map of the region.

'Right, i'm right here.' I thought, placing my finger over Fennel Valley on the map. Then, winding my finger up in a circle shape to just before Pewter, my finger stopped on where a small village was, home to a ruin just a little ways away from Pewter.

And then continuing on I wound it further down still in the circle shape, keeping it a perfect circle shape…and directly across from Fennel Valley with Viridian City between them, was another area home to a ruin.

'If Regice is here and Regirock is at the one near Pewter City, then this ruin I'm pointing to, must be where Registeel is.' I cupped my chin in thought.

Then, this obviously dictates they were all set up by the same civilization. And considering the ancient evil kings plan was to use un-named legendary pokemon to rule the world…Did that mean his pokemon squad was: Regice, Regirock, Registeel, the giant Alakazam, the giant Gengar and the giant Jigglypuff?

No wonder Ho-oh had to personally get involved and smite his ass.

Logic would probably dictate that somewhere in that circle between Pallet, Virdian and Pewter, there would be three other ruins. One for Regieleki, one for Regidrago and one final one for a Regigigas.

Assuming the guy found them as well.

Maybe a pentagram within the circle?

'Well, no matter.' I shrugged it off for now. I already know where to find a Regieleki and Regidrago, together in the same ruin in Galar.

And I know where to find a Regigigas in Sinnoh.

…Two of them actually.

Not that I plan on going anywhere near a Regigigas for the foreseeable future.

…The five other Regi's though, might not be a bad idea. While I do plan to calm down a lot on how I go about things.

Legendary pokemon that are easy to find and won't cause any natural disasters if I capture are another thing entirely.

Especially since, while I'd prefer to leave everything up to Ash, he's the chosen one after all, if things do go fubar…being able to call upon the Regi's would be a massive boon.

'Well, we'll see after I deal with Regice.' I thought. Regidrago and Regieleki are one thing, they have a shit ton of fire power, but are glass cannons. The three Regi's Brandon caught though? Were not only powerhouses, but absolute tanky units.

I made my way up the grand staircase into the ancient ruin, and beyond the light streaming in from the open doorway, it was pitch black within.

A musty dank scent assaulted my nostrils. It reminded me of the cavern where my fossil pokemon were, smelling like the underground.

I wonder if this is what miners smelled when they went deep underground to mine coal and such?

The deeper I walked, the darker it got, until I could barely see a few feet in front of me, "Rotom, give me some light." I said, holding my hand up.

A second later, the circular indent within the palm of my gauntlet, lit up with a bright illuminating light, like that of a torch.

'That's better.' I thought and continued on my way, deeper into the ruin. With the light from my gauntlet, I got a much better look at things.

As I went deeper, I passed by small archways leading into empty stone rooms, filled with nothing but dust, rocks…and even a few small skeletons that were probably long dead pokemon.

Whatever were in these rooms before, had long since been picked clean over the centuries.

Finally, I came upon an absolutely massive archway that lead into a huge open cavernous room.

Massive pillars lined the walls, leading up to a grand staircase at the far end of the room. Where at the very top, sat a huge throne, and atop it, a gargantuan statue of a man dressed in robes, holding a huge stone sceptre and a giant crown atop his head.

"So this was the evil king huh?" I hummed, shining my light upon it, "God he was one ugly fuck huh?" I snorted.

He had a thick heavy brow, pronounced bum chin. A massive, fat flat nose. Massive buggy looking eyes. And his face as a whole, was wide and fat, his cheeks pronounced with blubber.
