"Do you have something to say to me, Lady High Lord?"
Rex stood before the blond woman and crossed his arms.
Even though he was going to give High Lord Rashal's wives some face, he was still on guard after what happened on the rooftop. Though it was unlikely—there was a chance the two of them still wanted him gone regardless of High Lord Rashal's decision.
He was facing the meek one, but there are predators that hide under a sheep's skin.
"I haven't properly introduced myself." The blond woman laced her petite fingers together in front of her stomach and offered a faint smile, though it still seemed to close her eyes. She has a naturally kind smile. "My name is Donna. Lady Donna or simply Donna, whichever suits you. And yes, I was hoping that we could talk for a moment.
"I promise it won't take long at all."
"Sure." Rex shrugged; he had no problem talking with her. "What do you have in mind?"
Donna tilted her head down for a second, contemplating or perhaps embarrassed.
