Not only was the flesh nearly as tough as stone, but there was also the adder layer of scaled armor, and the insides were slick and slippery. Even with claws as sharp as Rex's, he couldn't quite pierce through to tear an opening.
One that he could tear open wider and burst out.
Swallowing its enemy would prove to be useful, especially one like Rex, who relies on his physique.
In normal circumstances, the enemy would be helpless and digested.
But Rex was no normal enemy.
Possessing a very high-grade Soul Artifact came with its benefits, and one of them was the power of law.
Rex used the Minor Law of Inevitability to make it inevitable that his claws pierced through, and once the hardest part was done, clawing his way out was not a problem. Above all, he was confident in his raw strength more than anything.
