-Back with Fleur-
After Harry left, Fleur and Krum continued to fight fiercely against each other, without even taking a break to rest or catch their breath.
And they were so focused on their incessant fight that they didn't even notice the departure or absence of the black-haired, green-eyed boy.
In fact even if the two of them realized that Harry was no longer there they probably wouldn't even care, since they were completely focused on defeating the opponent in front of them.
"Huff... Huff..." Fleur breathed heavily, starting to feel tired after fighting and using magic for so long.
And as she tried to catch her breath she looked at her enemy, frowning slightly when she saw that Krum seemed strangely calm and not at all tired compared to her.
'Tsk... He's more powerful and resilient than he looks' she thought irritably.
And she didn't have time to think about it anymore because she had to jump back to dodge a cruel bone-breaking spell that Krum cast.
And looking at the place hit by this spell that bordered on dark magic, Fleur saw the broken ground and the charred grass, and she knew with all certainty that if this spell had hit her it would have done great damage to her.
'And he sure isn't holding back,' she grimaced, noticing the danger contained in this attack.
Fleur had already realized that the difference in skills between her and Krum was not that great, and that in fact she surpassed him in most combat aspects.
However, the fact that the Bulgarian boy had more raw power, resistance, and knew more lethal and dangerous spells than she did made him a difficult and dangerous opponent.
'I can't let this fight drag on any longer... I need to defeat Krum as soon as possible' she thought.
Then a determined glint appeared in her eyes, 'And if he's not holding back then I don't see any reason to hold back either.'
And now that she had made her decision she gripped her wand tightly.
Concentrating her magic, Fleur prepared to use a spell that used a destructive and powerful element, and that combined very well with her Veela nature and characteristics.
'Let's see how you handle this' she thought, before pointing her wand at Krum.
"{Incendio}!" she said the incantation in a firm, decisive tone of voice.
And from the tip of her wand came a powerful jet of orange fire that had its power and effectiveness increased to the maximum.
"{Aqua Eructo}!" and Krum was unfazed by the flames that were heading towards him, responding to her attack with an equally powerful jet of water.
With these two spells being cast they quickly met, colliding with each other and creating a sort of elemental tug-of-war.
And as the two spells collided, a lot of steam was created, further obscuring the vision of the two champions in this dark and misty maze.
But even though Fleur couldn't see very well what was in front of her, she could still feel her spell weakening, being suppressed by Krum's spell that used the opposite element to hers.
"Urg," she grunted, putting more power and effort into her spell, nearly exhausting her magical reserves.
However, this didn't do much good and the advantage in this dispute continued to be Krum's, which made her click her tongue in irritation.
And realizing that in this confrontation of spells she had lost, Fleur canceled her spell, before throwing herself to the side, dodging the jet of water.
And after dodging Krum's {Aqua Eructo} Fleur fell into a half-crouched position, narrowing her eyes at Krum as she gripped her wand tighter.
'Even though he's the champion with the lowest score, he certainly shouldn't be underestimated,' she thought, trying to ignore her tiredness as she stared at him with a serious gaze.
Fleur then saw that the steam caused by their spells began to dissipate little by little, and now with clearer vision she saw that a small puddle of water had formed below Krum's feet, making his eyes narrow with a calculating glint.
And without giving Krum time to make any movement she raised her wand.
"{Glacius}!" Fleur exclaimed, quickly casting a freezing spell on the puddle of water.
And as soon as the spell hit this small puddle it froze almost instantly, trapping Krum's feet which were in direct contact with the water.
"Ugh!" and feeling the cold on his feet Krum grunted with a grimace.
The Durmstrang student then tried to move, only to realize that he couldn't.
"Heh," Fleur smiled slightly, seeing that her little plan had worked.
And seeing that Krum could no longer move, Fleur pointed her wand at him again, preparing to use her remaining strength and energy to cast one last spell at Krum, wanting to quickly end this fight.
But just as she was about to cast a stunning spell, Krum did something that left her wide-eyed.
"Urgh!"
*Crack!*
Krum, under Fleur's gaze, began to try to forcefully free himself from the ice that held his feet.
And even though the ice was solid and resistant, due to Krum's strength and insistence it began to crack.
*Crack!... Crack!*
"Aaargh!!" and with an angry, animalistic growl Krum tried to pull his feet off the ice one last time, using all his strength.
*Crack!... Crack!...*
*CRACK!*
And in the end Krum's effort was worth it, because with that last pull he managed to free his feet from the ice.
However, this did not happen without problems, as when Krum forcibly freed himself from the ice, his feet ended up receiving some injuries, turning a sickly shade of purple and black with several cuts and wounds that bled non-stop.
But even though his feet were completely injured, Krum didn't show any expression of pain, just a slight grunt of discomfort.
And seeing this happen, Fleur was completely stunned, not knowing how to react to what she had just seen.
"He's crazy..." Fleur muttered in fright, "He's completely crazy!"
And as she looked at Krum she couldn't help but feel an unsettling and alarming feeling, realizing that the situation was becoming increasingly worrying for her.
"Urg," Krum grunted, taking a heavy, unsteady step forward.
And even though it seemed like he was having trouble standing he remained steadfast, ignoring the strain and pressure placed on his injured leg.
He then continued walking forward step by step, moving very slowly but with a completely focused and cold gaze.
And seeing the scowling boy walking towards her, Fleur again pointed her wand at him, before quickly starting to cast spells at him, trying to keep him away from her.
However, Fleur's fatigue and dazed state made her spells weaker and more erratic, and because of this, Krum was able to easily defend himself against them.
And as Krum advanced, defending himself from Fleur's spells, the blonde girl began to retreat apprehensively, until her back hit one of the hedge walls.
"Damn it," she cursed, feeling a pang of panic rise inside her.
Fleur had noticed for some time that there was something very wrong with the Durmstrang student, and even though she didn't know exactly what that something was, she knew that it represented a real danger to her.
And knowing this, and realizing that she was completely cornered by Krum, she couldn't help but feel distressed and worried.
'What do I do now?! How do I defeat him?!' she wondered, looking around anxiously as she searched for a way out of this situation.
But unfortunately for Fleur she couldn't find an escape, and in the time she was frantically looking around Krum arrived in front of her.
'What... What is he going to do?' she wondered nervously, breaking out in a cold sweat under the emotionless gaze of the boy in front of her.
Standing in front of Fleur, Krum said nothing, just raising his wand and pointing it at her.
And then, with a blank stare and a deadly calm and cold voice he began to say the incantation of a spell.
"{Avada Keda—}"
"{Expulso}!"
Before Krum could cast the infamous Killing Curse on Fleur, ending the French Veela's life, another voice emerged amidst the chaos.
And this voice without a second of hesitation cast a powerful repulsive spell that hit the Bulgarian champion in his side, throwing him away from Fleur.
And Fleur, who had felt her heart stop beating the moment Krum began to speak the Killing Curse incantation, blinked in amazement as she saw her almost-murderer being hit by a spell that threw him away before he fell violently to the ground.
'Huh?' She looked at Krum lying in the distance in surprise.
And quickly recovering from her shock she turned to look at the one who saved her, seeing a boy with green eyes and a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead running quickly towards her.
"Harry!?" Fleur exclaimed, pleasantly surprised.
End.
