Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

My name is Teana and I am currently on the roof of the school to eat lunch when 5 senior students came up here. I figured they wouldn't bother with me because we didn't know each other but boy was I wrong.

Things might get a little gruesome starting here. People that get triggered with weapons and/or violence should skip this short part.

They all walked towards me but I wasn't paying them any attention. The tallest yanked me hard by my collar and tossed me to one side. I hit the wall with my back and I yelled in pain. I didn't know what to do. Even if I wanted to fight them, I can't. I'm outnumbered. 2 of them walked towards me, grins etched on their faces. They started punching a kicking me. One of the most painful kicks was when one of them kneed me in my gut. I almost spit out blood. After what felt like a couple of hours, they finally stopped. But I had a feeling that things weren't over.

All five of them took out knives or sharp tools. They carved on my skin writing all sorts of different things.

And you can continue reading from this point on.

I wonder what I did to them. I never pissed them off or anything though. My last thoughts were, "Why did they torture me first instead of killing me instantly?"

I just don't get humans and their what not.

After I died it seemed like I was in a blank and dark space with nothing? I couldn't tell because I could only see the darkness of the place. Then a small spark of light flickered. It got closer and closer before a woman with an angel-like appearance appeared right in front of me.

"Who are you?"

"I am what you humans would call an angel."

" And why should I believe you?"

"Well... you know you have died right? Then you should know what happens when you die. You either go to Heaven or to Hell. But you are a special case. Something is weird with your soul and God has instructed me to look at it and decide where to send you."

"Hmmm. I get it. So do you know where I'm going now? I don't think I can stay here forever."

"Yes. Please give me some time. I need to focus."

It was only then did I properly looked at her. Long golden hair that trails down her back. Eyes closed. Her eyelashes long and beautiful. A smile that decorates her face. She was wearing a white knee-length dress and is shorter in the front but longer in the back.

Because I was studying her, I instantly notice her eyebrows furrow. I was worried that something was really wrong with me. She opened her eyes and looked at me with confusion.

"It seems we've been too lax with our management to cause such a displacement."

She sighed with emotion as she informed me about what was going on.

"Your soul does not belong in your earth. Our rules have been have loosened because there weren't any accidents. But it seems we will need to be more strict."

What she said makes some sense as I already felt that I didn't quite fit in with the people around me. And if I tried to change and fit in, it just made me more left out so I never bothered with it again after that. I was also never really close with my family. The one that I would say that I'm the closest to would be my little sister. She knew that me and our parents didn't get along that well so she would cheer me up whenever I was feeling down. She was also the one who introduced me to 'otome' games. I guess it was because of her that I became obsessed with it and I would always try to get the newest ones. She was the only reason I wasn't alone.
