Bertha Swift let go of Adam Piers, her pretty face flushed with a vibrant pink, "What do you mean by murdering your husband? Adam, have some decency."
Adam Piers, however, pointed at his own face, "How could I not want such a handsome face?"
Bertha Swift was struck by Adam Piers' narcissism. She lowered her head, bandaged his shoulder, and turned to leave, only to be pulled back by a long arm that hugged her from behind, "Bertha, let's have a baby again once you're healthy."
"What... did you say?" Bertha Swift was once again pulled tightly into Adam Piers' embrace, and before she could feel either shy or annoyed, she heard Adam's words and turned back in shock to look at him, unable to believe he would say such a thing.
"Bertha, I'm serious." Adam Piers met Bertha Swift's gaze, his voice more determined.
