Abigail heard that four men were going to drink and was first startled, then she poked her head out and saw Pullan fawning over everyone with hangover remedies, opening up four bottles at once. Her mouth twitched as she asked Lena Locke, "Where did the alcohol come from?"
"Lawyer Jones had Pullan fetch it from his place," Lena Locke replied in a low mutter, "He doesn't know to take less, and actually brought a whole box."
Abigail looked incredulously at Lena, "A box?"
"Yeah, see, they're clearly off. Pullan actually took so much. Who is he planning to get drunk?" Lena couldn't help but Tsukkomi.
Abigail's lips twitched again. She didn't care who got drunk, but she couldn't help but feel sorry for Benjamin's alcohol, knowing well that he had no other hobbies and loved collecting fine wines the most. The box that Pullan moved must be worth millions, if not hundreds of thousands.
This wasn't drinking; it was practically shredding money.
And others noticed it too.
