"..."
Jiang Qian looked pale and incredulous as she watched Chu Junming's stern figure disappear at the doorway.
A moment later, the sound of a car came from outside.
She bit her lip tightly, tears brimming in her eyes.
She forgot about the cold entirely, standing frozen in the chilly wind until she heard Mother Chu's voice from behind, prompting Jiang Qian to look up at the sky and force her tears back.
"Qianqian, why are you crying? Did Junming bully you?"
Mother Chu looked at Jiang Qian's reddened eyes and frowned apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't know Junming would be so resolute. It's cold outside, why don't we go inside and eat? I'll call him later and ask him to come back to apologize to you."
"Auntie, there's no need."
Jiang Qian shook her head and sniffled.
After standing in the cold for so long, her hands were already icy.
Following Mother Chu back to the living room, Jiang Qian began to sneeze.
