Bai Qingling thought back over what she'd just said and realized she hadn't mentioned Chu Junming.
She smiled and said, "No, Chu Junming's not coming."
Her voice paused slightly, then she added, "He's busy these days. He left the villa renovation to me."
"Qingling… okay, I'll bring the drawings at noon."
Jian Ye wanted to say something but stopped.
In the end, what he wanted to ask never made it out over the phone.
"What's wrong, couldn't get an appointment?"
As soon as Lin Qiang walked into Jian Ye's office, he saw him frowning, looking downright unhappy.
He knocked twice on the desk with the back of his hand, then just sat right down on it.
Behind the desk, Jian Ye still had his phone pinched in one hand, and the drawings he'd finished this morning were spread out on the desk in front of him.
Since the clients were Chu Junming and Feng Yize, Jian Ye hadn't dared slack off in the slightest, and his speed was top-notch as well.
"I got the appointment."
