In the morning, Bai Xiaoxiao opened her eyes and saw Luo Haofeng coming in from the doorway holding Lingling.
"Xiaoxiao, you're awake just in time, Lingling is hungry."
Lingling, a little over two months old, looked so tiny in Luo Haofeng's arms. Once in her mother's arms, she instinctively sought her mother's chest.
Bai Xiaoxiao found her daughter's actions humorous and felt a tenderness in her heart, like a gentle lake. "Little foodie, don't rush, don't rush."
She spoke softly while lifting her shirt to nurse.
Luo Haofeng stood smiling beside her, watching their daughter looking for food, and defended her with a smile, "Our Lingling isn't a little foodie, she's just hungry after a night's sleep and wants breakfast, right?"
Luo Haofeng sat down at the edge of the bed, gently holding Lingling's chubby little hand with his broad hand.
Bai Xiaoxiao laughed lightly and asked Luo Haofeng, "Did you change the diaper?"
"I did."
