After Mother Bai left, Bai Xiaoxiao lay on the bed and dialed Luo Haofeng's number.
The phone rang twice before Luo Haofeng's voice came through, carrying a hint of gentleness in the night air.

"Are you home yet?"
Bai Xiaoxiao picked up the pillow beside her and stuffed it behind her back, grabbing a stuffed toy to hug, she asked softly.
