Yiyi took a bath and went downstairs, just as Gu Kai arrived at her house.
"Want some water?"
She sat on the sofa and watched the man enter from the vestibule, showing no intention of getting up to pour him water.
Gu Kai squinted his eyes, his gaze lingered on her for two seconds. She wasn't wearing her cartoon pajamas tonight, yet still looked just as childish.
"Are you eternally young at heart, or do you think you are forever eighteen?"
Instead of answering, he countered with a question, and Yiyi's face darkened, her chin lifted proudly, retorting irritably, "What's it to you?"
Gu Kai walked to the sofa with an air of entitlement, leaned his tall frame into it, and commanded, "Pour me a glass of water. I've been discussing issues with those foreigners tonight, and my throat is all hoarse."
