"Dad, is it a boy or a girl?" Mianmian asked curiously, holding the little golden retriever, after petting and kissing it for a while, she brought it over to Shi Su and Jing Jihan.
"It should be a girl." Shi Su leaned over, gently lifted the puppy's leg, and took a closer look before saying.
"Yes," Jing Jihan confirmed.
"Wow, I like girls!" Mianmian said, hopping a little while holding the puppy. This seemed to frighten the little creature in her arms, which struggled for a moment. Mianmian quickly steadied herself and gently patted it to reassure it, "Sorry, I'm just too excited and forgot you're in my arms. I won't jump again, don't be scared!"
After being petted for a while, the little golden retriever snuggled back into Mianmian's arms and stopped moving around.
"Mianmian, let your mom and dad go inside to rest first. You hold that little guy and follow us in. Remember to wash your hands before eating," Mrs. Jing said.
