"Anyone who reaches the Heavenly Fate Realm will be annihilated here!" Xiao Ninger stated. But the number of Demon Beasts were to much to fight with just them safely. Plus he wanted to test something. "Stop!"
Xiao Ninger received a glare to back away. It would be foolish to interfere in what he was doing and she would just be putting herself in danger. Off in the distance, a set of eyeballs looked towards the location but did not make a move. Restricted by the formation on the Tiny world, the eyes narrowed jealously and expectantly.
The old Demon Beast wanted to see another try to break through to the Heavenly Fate Realm and fail.
A mix-breed version of the Divine Scarlet Thunderbird came at him viciously. It was not even remotely close to the bloodline of its ancestor but had the pride of one. Dark gold lightning coming off the talons as did a fly by on him.
"Here chicky chicky!" dodging the strike, Shen Yue taunted just enough for it to turn an face him. Its mouth open wide as it tried to launch an attack at him. Raised his finger and punching out, the blast was knocked back it the bird's mouth. "Gotta hurry!"
*Pew!* A finger beam of condensed fire shot out hitting it in the mouth to help finish it off. Burning a hole directly through its bird brain.
Shen Yue flared up with power as the Flame Vortex Core spun faster. He restricted the Divine Sparks since they would be used to make sure he lived if the hypothesis failed. Best way to test that theory after all.
Moving through the Demon Beasts striking out with his physical body, they fell under his strikes in droves. For each one battered down, 4 more would strike back at him knocking him around a little. The kinetic energy from the strike was redirected with the use of the Metal Seed amplifying the situation further.
*Hummm!* A pulse of Sound from the Metal Seed sent a shockwave knocking several away into each other. The problem of ganging up on a single individual made them an easy target. Spatial distortions opened from up above, however.
'Here it comes!' Shen Yue moved towards the sturdier Demon Beasts. The Annihilation Lightning poured down trying to wipe him out! The only way to keep from getting hit was to stay moving. But it was a never-ending wave of beasts to go through. "Shitty bastard!" Sliding underneath a large creature made of rock, he assumed it would at least survive the blow.
"GRROOOOOooo!" The Demon Beast survived all a second to let out a cry before it turned into nothing from the strike. Much to weak to resist and leave a body behind.
Barely even dust in the wind. The fighting zone started turning worse by the moment. Between Shen Yue fighting and a few weaker Demon Beasts running got their lives, it was an absolute mess.
*BZZZTT!* Another strike came down with him moving out to the side and cutting two demon beasts in half with a swipe.
"Damn it!" Shen Yue cursed. The blasted Annihilation Lightning kept coming and coming. Getting blasted in the side from not moving fast enough ticked him off. His skin was charred open with the muscles and flesh separating to prevent healing. 'Won't let me breakthrough nicely, then I have to make you pay for it!'
*Bzzt!* The Annihilation Lightning in his body was absorbed into his Flame Vortex Core. The exhausted spiritual energy used to push him up higher in Realm was replenished somewhat. Using it to continue the breakthrough, was short-lived.
The same as when he fights against a Soul in a Merging Battle with a living Cultivator, Creature inside the Flame Vortex. The lightning was alive and causing harm before subdued. The consciousness inside it retaliating violently at being absorbed.
*Bzzzzttt!* Two bolts of Annihilation Lightning hit him directly. The energy trailing around him causing the strikes to find him easier. Sending his body tumbling around on the ground smashing into demon beasts. Flesh peeled away along his face revealed his rune inscribed skull. Eyes missing but a purple glow visible in its place.
If not for the runes, the damage to his brain would be the end of him. As long as he had spirit energy, he would be able to keep his mind alive. Which he had plenty of in large excess to keep fighting and keep powered up.
"Raaaahhh!" Shen Yue roared in frustration. The next bolt came right at him but was dispersed by the shout. The Sound wave holding steady as he worked his cultivation to hurry up the process. Not to heal himself, but to push back against the lightning to fight. "Piece of shit dead cultivator!"
A combined might of five bolts came down in response to the insult. Hitting his body in key locations. The flesh and clothes were destroyed but his spatial rings surviving. Putting them into his Internal Space at the last moment was the smarter option.
Running his full cultivation, Shen Yue absorbed the Annihilation Lighting into his Flame Vortex Core out of spite and the pain to keep him going. Causing massive injuries to it in the process. But the rich power caused it to grow exponentially.
The Runic Lines across his Skelton lighting up as he made it his own. With no flesh or even a brain inside, his energy was pushing out in large waves as he kept fighting.
Several gold pillars (Star Piallars) made of spirit energy moved around striking at different Demon Beasts. Whether it be ramming or spinning at hyperspeed grinding away body parts and terrain. Like rolling logs going downhill.
The Star Pillar appearing outside is made of pure spiritual energy. It started rotating as the "smelting" effect was used on his bones in real-time. With nobody to funnel it into, he could only push his bones further to develop.
Bones exploding and reforming. Stronger with a greater increase to the function of his Bone Marrow to a higher tier. Richer blood cells and white blood cells. The platelets, already having improved several times didn't change much.
To the Demon Beasts present, he smelled and gave the feel of one of their own on a primal level.
Holding his cultivation in check, his Astral Sense finally found an opening in where the Annihilation Lightning came from up above. A figure was in somewhat stasis floating in the space between the Subsidiary Realms.
"I should strike you with everything I have you, shitty bastard!" He yelled out but did not do so. he had know idea who it was after all.
Pulling back before it was to late, Shen Yue solidified his realm at the Heavenly Fate Realm finally. The entire Tiny World was not just a place to hide for inhabitants, it was a place to hide dangerous treasures that could deal with not just the Sage Emperor, but also the other experts.
The Annihilation Lightning no longer appearing as the space in Tiny World closed up. The ancient Demon beast that watched from the sealed formation in the distance, eyes were wide in fury and hatred.
But also confusion seeing an exploding Skelton reforming with such power. Lightning sparks flowing around warping the environment.
"Collect the Demon Beast Corpses Duan Jian." Shen Yue ordered. His flesh not restoring still. Xiao Ninger and Yu Yan just staring at him. Not many days do you get to see a moving talking Skelton, not trying to kill you anyway. "Spare not a single one."
Taking orders from an almost Skelton was eerie. Especially with different color-covered runes and inscriptions, they could barely read. Yu Yan's face was in a pensive frown as one or two were those that use to belong to the Black Spring.
The Flame Vortex Core stepped into the Heavenly Fate Realm with all that came with it. With Three Fates forming within instantly. Each were a representation of the Flame Martial Arts, Star Martial Arts, and Dragon Martial Arts but were heavily damaged and needed time to repair.
The Flame Vortex Star Dragon exuded the power as well but was also injured all over. Slight whimpers could be heard due to the overall damage of his soul.
Only the Divine Sparks were unscathed since they were shielded. The Lighting Divine Spark however was rotating non-stop out of his control now. Tribulation Lightning still refining with the energy traveling back and forth between the two, the Core and the Spark that is.
The quantity inside the Divine Spark increasing in quality leagues above the others.
*Bzzt!* The Thundergod Meteorite Sword circling around it almost letting out a pleased hum. A type of symbiosis between the two taking place. Refining it even further and making it Shen Yue's own weapon.
"Grr, you have two choices." Shen Yue used his Astral Sense to communicate with the Demon Beasts in the area. The others were unable to hear a word of what was being said. "Fall under my banner, and I will help you against the Demon God Sect. Or do you want to be wiped out after you finish their bidding instead?"
"You know of the Demon God Sect?" A Demon Beast responded. Seeing the skeleton nod, it was troubled. 'This human is odd.' Looking to the others, they started to converse. Some believing he may be a dreaded half-breed between a human and demon beast taking human form.
Shen Yue didn't look away from them. His haunting look unnerving a few of those that looked towards him. A few felt a brush of something going pass them. He was using Astral Sense to get an accurate account on those in the area as well any that tried to flee to warn others.
"I didn't give you permission to leave!" The Flame Dagger shot through the crowd. It went towards A large gray frog piercing its legs and searing the flesh. "Do not test me!" His voice full of anger echoed in the forest.
Shen Yue could stop his suppression and continue breaking through to higher Heavenly Fates. But that would cause the barrier around the Tiny World to weaken. Which would put his people in danger as well.
The only thing he could think of, was that the person who put it up did it to keep all the treasures stashed away safely from stronger hands. It was already odd that Kong Ming had inheritors going through the place causing troubles.
The old man is proof that the Barrier around the Tiny World is odd.
The major Demon Beasts nodded. Marking them with his Beast Manual and taming them was better than nothing. Their eyes flashed with higher Intelligence scaring Yu Yan, Xiao Ninger, and Ye Han a little.
Long Sha just stared at the marks on Shen Yue's bones. Trying to commit them to memory. But he only understood 1% of them. This was the one over the heart location of the bones at that.
The Blackfog Earthen Dragon, Black Star Tiger which was injured, Junior Blackprison Azure Dragon, Dragon Bone Winged Tiger, and Profound Netherfrost Bird remained behind. Five Beast Generals that were in the area.
"What is it?"
"The others may not know it yet, but odds are, more trouble will come when the Barrier opens up. Even with the help from you, we will be in danger." The Profound Netherfrost Bird said. Trying to appeal to him just in case he was a part of a demon beast tribe by chance. "There are also more Demon Beasts besides what was here that can cause trouble."
"Fine, I can hide you. But you will have to become living Demon Spirits. That way my people get stronger as well as yourselves."
"For how long?" The Blackfog Earthern Dragon did not like the sound of that at all.
"Hmm, no more than 50 years." The Demon Beasts nodded agreeing with this. Even though they didn't have much of a choice really. "Ye Han, come here!" Ye Han moved over quickly. During the fighting, a little of his mask came off. "The Black Fog Earthern Dragon will go with you."
"Yes!" Ye Han was happy to gain such a powerful ally.
"You are coming with me Black Star Tiger. I doubt you survive these wounds further." The Black Star Tiger willing offered itself up. Its blood gathered and tucked away for the Black Star Tiger cubs before entering his Soul Realm "Oh?"
The moment it was in his Soul Realm, the remnants of the Father Black Star Tiger ate the spirit. Shen Yue could stop it forcibly but he rather not injure himself. The remaining Demon Beasts could tell something happen but the injury of their comrade was extensive.
At most he would live a few days maybe without help or treatment.
Shen Yue also produced a strong smell like a demon beast for a moment causing them to wonder if he was really even human at all. Thinking he might just have a really good technique that allowed him to look human.
Yu Yan received the Junior Blackprison Azure Dragon. She mostly requested it since she didn't have a Demon Spirit currently and the young dragon called to her on an emotional level for some reason.
Dragon Bone Winged Tiger and the Profound Netherfrost Bird were stored in his Internal Space. Two of his Officers would receive them later. After a few hours, Shen Yue's flesh had regrown. They were getting ready to leave when some of the Demon beasts returned.
They offered up several items from those who came to explore over the years who died. Mostly things they would never use themselves. The herbs in their possession had the seeds removed for replanting. A few of them, going to Xiao Ninger and Yu Yan.
A few seeds were given to Ye Han and the rest to Shen Yue. Long Sha already had ample payment from before still.
"This is more than enough." Xiao Ninger stated. She took most of the poison plants. "Most of the work was done by you to get here. Hopefully, you can recover faster with them."
Shen Yue did not insist since that would be stupid. Her understanding of the area helped get them this far. The refinement of the Blackprison Azure Dragon was already helping his flesh become stronger.
The information about some of the unusual areas within the Black Devil Forest was trickling in. The Scarlet Flame Tiger besides making certain instincts stronger had information on the environment as well.
Duan Jian entered an agreement with a Three-Headed Thunderbird. Several other Thunderbirds seemed to submit to him. Which was fine since they could enter agreements with members of the Sikong Family. Increasing their strength.
Yu Yan kept looking at Shen Yue bewildered. Her instincts telling her he was dangerous if he became an enemy. A small voice deep inside not to get close or she will be burned. It grew stronger over time, like a beacon of warning.
'I must be getting silly from stress.' Yu Yan mentally sighed to her self. 'My Divine Spark is stronger than before and even has the incorporating laws it should already. In time, I will separate from them and continue the fight against the enemies of the Human Tribe.'
Strong Laws swirled around her Divine Spark. Not just that of Divine Fire. But that of Life as well.
After storing the Demon Beasts away, they went back towards the Nether Realm. A few miles away several Demon Beasts were heading to this location. To many to fight in their current condition but defintely worth a return trip to the location.
