In a massive room, Maeron had been passed around like an item by his newfound grandmother, Tethis, mother of the oceanides, among whom was his mother, Metis.
She was beautiful, kind, and warm, with a motherly presence, and with all the children and grandchildren she had, it was understandable
He couldn't even be mad; in fact, he was quite happy to see that motherly figure so enthusiastic as she was parading him around, introducing him to the other oceanides and their children.
"This is Meli, my thirty-fifth daughter. This is Margos, the sixty-eight son, and this is my one hundred heighty third grandson..."
The animated Tethis was showing of all his family members to Maeron.
'Damn it, it has been hours, how many children and grandchildren do they have?' Maeron thought with a helpless smile; he felt that the presentation was far from over, and, like most of the time, he was right after all.
Oceanus and his wife had thousands of children and even more grandchildren.
After five hours of introduction, he had barely met ten percent of the Oceanide family; they were all very talkative, curious, and enthusiastic, so it was taking even more time. He was starting to get tired.
'More social battery is dead,' As if understanding his plea, his grandfather came to the rescue.
"Tethis, please leave. It has been hours now. Give me back the kid, we have things to discuss."
"Ohh," The beautiful face of the Titaness fell when she heard that, "But I didn't even introduce him to Leila and her family yet," she complained
"Please, woman, you can introduce him to all the branches of a family like ours in one day, it takes time, do not worry, he won't run away, he told me how to contact him, right Maeron?!"
"Yes, yes, absolutely don't worry, hum,"
"You aren't yet used to calling me grandma,"
Maeron realized that it was the old titan way to help him and hurried to acquiesce.
"Alright, then I'm leaving you to your business, but we will talk again once it is over,"
"Yes,"
After they stepped into another room, Marron let out a massive sigh of relief.
"It's finally over, my social battery is dead. I didn't think it was possible, I'm very extroverted,"
"Humph, she got carried away, it means she is happy. Not, let's talk seriously, what do you want from me?"
Oceanus asked seriously
"I want to avenge myself and my mother and dethrone my father,"
"Of course you do, and so the cycle continues..." Oceanus took a few seconds of contemplation before replying
"He never would have gained the throne without her. It is time to take it back. What do you need?"
And so, for another hour or so, Marron and Oceanus planned how to achieve their goals
An hour later, the two walked out of the room with a smile on their face.
"I see that everything went well,"
Tethis said, seeing their expression
"More than well," Maeron replied Maeron said hugging her.
"Sorry, but I need to go now. I have a lot of things to do, but I will be back in a few days to spend time with you."
"Well, I knew you would say that," Tethis sighed
MAeron gave a helpless sigh at the chaos that he had unleashed. He needed to always be on high alert.
"We can always go to him if you can't wait. I have the coordinates of his place," Oceanus conforted
"I prepared something for you."
"Clap, clap"
Two resounding claps sounded in the room, and at her signal, about a hundred river nymphs, goddesses, spirits, and more appeared in the room, some were her daughters, some granddaughters, and more.
But all of them had something in common: all of them were related to water divinity, female, and all of them were incredibly beautiful.
"What do you think?" Tethis said cheerfully, "They're yours to do whatever you want."
"He!"
"Yes!!"
"They are yours, what do you think, do you like them?"
Meron looked genuinely confused by what he was seeing, about five hundred absolutely gorgeous women, some of them his aunts, just given to him to do as they pleased, and from the way they were looking at him, it was clear that it was completely normal; a lot of them were looking forward to it.
'They are all absolute bonbshell,' Maeron internally salivated
"Well, I don't know what to say!"
"Say thanks," Oceanus just patted his shoulder. "I know you are secretly happy," he murmured in his ear
"Well, huh, thanks, grandma." he was a little uncomfortable at having his own grandmother arrange women for him, but after a double-take, he had to admit that the titaness had good taste.
"Oh, hush, no need to say thanks, just make me a few great grandchildren," she beamed geniunely happy before snuggling with her husband,
"Well, goodbye, see you soon, maybe I will come to your place."
With a wave of the hand, Oceanus opened a passage toward Tartarus
'With that mindset, it's not surprising they made so many descendants,' he thought, jumping in the portal with his family, servants, and mistresses. Maeron wasn't sure.
'Well, I won't waste the opportunity,'

At Olympus
"Arghh,"
A terrifying scream of pain and despair resounded; people closed their ears in discomfort and fear.
In the throne room, Zeus looked at the broken goddess charged of healing his sons, crumpled on the floor with something close to contempt.
"I told you I want a result. If you want to live, you'd better find a way to save my sons, use any method imaginable, but you will save them or you will die with them."
With a wave, the poor goddess was carried out to the healing temple.
'He is getting worse, more irritable, more unpredictable,' Athena thought as she exchanged a knowing look with her sibling standing beside her father. The uncomfortable glance that they exchanged was proof enough that they agreed, still, none of them said anything, some due to fear and apprehension.
Some of the others didn't care as long as it could save their brothers, or at least save Hermes.
"Ares!" Zeus called
"Yes, father," Ares, in his black armor, knelt before him.
"You failed again. What happened in the kingdom of Argos? How could you lose against that thing, a mere human who got his power by stealing that of true gods?" he questioned
Since Maeron revealed that hundreds of people converted multiple nations to his cause, mere humans managed to gain halfgods powers by stealing that of the real descendants of gods. Of course, Zeus hadn't just stood by; he had sent his children and warriors not only to battle against the monsters of Tartarus but also to wage wars against the nations that had turned against him.
"Why didn't you manage to destroy any of the countries that turned against us until now? How useless can you be?"
"Didn't you fail against him!?"
"Ares murmured under his breath; it was barely audible, unfortunately, Zeus and a few of his siblings heard him.
Their gasps filled the room when
"What did you say!!" The screams of his father were so deafening that all Olympus heard him
"I-I am sorry, Father, I spoke out of... Arghhhh,"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ares was struck on the spot by the lightning that escaped from his father's hands
"Arghh..."
"How dare you speak to me like that. How dare you disrespect me like that? Did you think that you could disrespect me too, like your mother, hum, like that thing Maeron, how dare you."
Under the eyes of everyone, Ares trembled in his armor as his father's lightnings burned his skin
"Father, please, he didn't mean it, he was frustrated,"
Athena tried to mediate, but the look of rage that Zeus gave her made her shut up.
Everyone remained silent as the groans of pain of Ares filled the room. After nearly a minute, the lightning cordes shouting from Zeus' hand stopped.
Ares fell on the ground, gasping and twitching as lightning coursed on his burned skin.
"Don't ever forget your place,"
"Ugh, understood Father, it won't happen again. Cof, cof, usually it wouldn't be a problem to destroy those countries, but as you must know, they are surrounded by a veil created by Maeron, alerting them of our presence. The moment you enter a certain range, you are smithen by a barrage of lightning. But this isn't all, the titans are on his side, they come out of the same portals that the monsters use,"
"Damn it!"
Crackle
Thunder crackled in the room as Zeus smashed his fist on the throne
"Of course, that disgusting piece of shit, how didn't I think of it sooner, it is him, he is allied, this is all his fault, this is his scheme..."
Everyone in the room realized with Zeus that the disasters that were happening were probably Maeron's doing,
"Curse him, curse him, he is trying to fulfill the prophecy, it won't happen."
After raging for a few seconds, Zeus calmed down
"Leave me, I need to think about how to deal with the situation."
"Yes, father," his children responded in unison before leaving the room, leaving their father alone.
It had become increasingly common now, in the past, Zeus at least listened to advice, even though he didn't listen most of the time; now, he didn't even bother, as he didn't trust anyone else.
"Let me help you!" Apollo said but
"No need, I-I'm fine," slowly and painfully Ares walked away
As they watched, Ares walked away, a thought entered their mind
'Even we, his children, aren't safe,'
