"Shan wait!"
„If you're gonna dawdle like this, we're never going to make it back before sunset!"
"Like it's my fault!"
"Who was it that didn't give me a moments peace because of it?!"
There was a noise. I stopped and looked around. In the shadows of the trees I could make out the silhouettes of men.
"Shan!"
"Enia run!"
"But...!"
"Please listen to me at least this once and run!!"
I heard some strange noise and suddenly, I couldn't breathe.

Do you know what it's like, when someone you trust with your life leads you right into a trap?
When you blindly follow them, because that's what you're used to doing, WHAT YOU WERE TAUGHT TO DO by that very person, and it never before backfired for you?
Because a thought of mistrusting them never even crossed your mind, because how could someone who is supposed to be protecting you with their own life could ever destroy you beyond repair?
And only years after, you realize that you have been led into an inescapable prison. You realize that, out of trust, you allowed them to build walls so high and thick that no force can break you out of it?
Well, I do...
And it's not something you can escape just because you want to. You can desire it as much as you want, it won't just go away. Think you can do it if someone helps?
No.
The right person can ease the pain, open the cage, but you won't be able to get out. It gets funnier: you won't even allow the right person to carry you out. Your mind will be twisted in such a way that you will become scared of the normal world outside, rather than the nightmare inside the cage.
Such is the power of misused trust.
