He was not expecting a reply but if he was it was not what he had expected.
He opened his mouth once again to say something but no sound came out. So I took that as my lead, and asked him instead,
"As long as I remember you don't have any appointment till 3 in the evening." I said faking to see the watch I had tied on my wrist.
"And I see sir, it's not even 12 yet." I gave him an oblivious look.
"Since Dr.Jones said yesterday that you are only going to take care of my case from now on. I thought why not." He shrugged leaning back in the chair.
'That's true,' I thought frowning internally.
'Then why did I have to hurry here if I'm not even taking any other surgeries?' I found myself asking the question.
For a moment I thought I again asked out aloud. But thankfully I did not because he was still sitting calmly in front of me. That reminds me I did not give him a snarky remark yet.
