With each step, the territory ruled by the growing shadow behind him increased. This lasted until Moses and his men stood in darkness; when the giant rock mass returned to its place, it faded in the feeble lights leaking from the hollows.
Not only in the second section, but the heat and light inside the entire Flame Element Cave vanished behind Mel along with the closing rock. The places aflame seconds ago radiated that cold sensation unique to caves without visitors.
"Leader, will the kid be alright?"
Moses did not answer the question before drawing a deep breath. Even the subordinate who objected the most when he offered Mel membership in the Flame Claw League worried about him now. How could he not worry? This was the experience area for Flame Element users; even Moses sat in a hollow twice his size to train, and that man was powerful enough to lead a league. Mel tried to conquer the cave now; the question was difficult to answer for someone who had not experienced this before.
