although I cannot directly support your proposal to amend the supreme command authority, I can agree to your request for an expanded meeting—as a final solution to differences. With my vote and yours, even if Meklen and Colvin both oppose holding the expanded meeting, it won't matter.
Matters concerning the interests of all officers should be decided by all officers—this reason alone is enough to silence Lieutenant Colonel Magash Colvin."
"That's why I can guarantee," Gaisa Adonis clapped his hands and laughed, "that Colvin won't be able to say a word."
Winters, however, was not infected by the colonel's confidence. He fell into deep thought and remained silent for a long time.
