Bai Zhi was naturally unaware of the situation in City B, because she had been busy looking for an apartment and submitting resumes ever since she arrived in City S.
However, finding a place to live was relatively easy. Just like in City B, she rented a single room at a price she could afford.
As for work... that would come slowly. Fortunately, her resume was still impressive, so finding a suitable job wasn't difficult.
Ever since she left City B, she stopped using her phone card and hadn't contacted anyone, not even Song Xue and Weiwei. She didn't just stop using her phone; she also stopped using any online chat tools.
She would reconnect once she was settled here.
But Bai Zhi was beautiful, well-educated, and had a stellar resume, so finding a job really wasn't hard.
Another week passed, and she successfully interviewed at a food company for the position of assistant to the general manager. The salary and benefits were decent.
