Receiving a call from Martin Archer, Renee Langdon furrowed her brows tightly. The number was not displayed, otherwise she would have known it was Martin Archer calling and would never have answered.
"Renee, it's Dad. Please don't hang up; Dad has something he wants to say to you." Martin Archer's voice was very gentle. If one didn't know about the things he had done, they might indeed believe he was a kind and friendly father.
"What do you want?" Renee Langdon's tone was cold.
"I want to meet you. Dad has some things he wants to say to you. Once you hear them, you'll understand that you've been misunderstanding Dad all these years." Martin Archer said this, knowing that Renee Langdon wouldn't agree to meet him, so he tried to play the emotional card.
Hearing this, Renee Langdon couldn't help but let out a mocking laugh.
Misunderstand? The things he did are plainly obvious in front of me, and he still wants to explain? It's absurd he can even say that.
