Kelly ran out in a panic and hid in a secluded place, unsure of what to do.
She heard voices not far away, so she held her breath and listened intently. It was Mr. Chuck and Tessa.
At that moment, Mr. Chuck was asking Tessa, "Spill it, what exactly is going on between you and my grandpa?"
Tessa, with a cool and aloof demeanor, shook her head and said, "Why should I tell you? I just won't tell you, I stubbornly refuse to."
Faye looked at her with amusement, shaking his head while setting bait: "Tessa, you just started working, do you need a big scoop?"
"Why?"
Faye leaned over and kissed her on the cheek, enticingly saying, "I can give you a big scoop, an exclusive!"
Tessa was momentarily tempted but immediately sternly refused: "No, I want to rely on my own skills to get a big scoop, I don't want your exclusive tip."
"Not bad, you have ambition." Faye was generous with his praise.
