"I'm asking if you want to meet after work?" Tessa deliberately used a cutesy, overly sweet voice that could kill with its sugary charm, playfully whining to Faye on the other end of the line, "Honestly, knowing that I'm getting off work soon, and you didn't even take the initiative to call me... Did you not miss me at all..."
Faye cleared his throat on the other side: "Be good, speak normally."
Tessa dropped the dramatic act and said angrily, "I'm a little demon, I only speak the language of demons, not humans."
Faye gave a mischievous smile: "So what does this little demon want by calling me?"
"Didn't I just ask you out? But now, I don't want to meet anymore," Tessa said, and then she directly hung up on him.
She chuckled to herself, not truly angry, just wanting to surprise Faye by going to the villa to see him directly.
Ten minutes before getting off work, Autumn Sterling dumped a pile of materials on Tessa, saying she had to sort through them before she could leave.
