For a second, Kaito just stared down at the literal cat girl snuggling into his chest. Her ears were so soft a fluffy looking, and her tails, he thought it might have been odd to see literal twin tails atop the girl but-
A fist slamming into the underside of his chin cut those thoughts off. He saw stars for a second and felt weightless, before he slammed into and through a bunch of trees.
He landed tens of feet away in a small crater, staring up blankly at the sky, "Ow." he uttered blankly.
That, he did not see coming.
A second later, a blurring form flipped through the air and landed atop him, straddling him, one hand grabbing at his throat, while the other wound up for a punch, "That was payback for that sucker punch you gave me by the way," Koneko leered down at him, golden eyes glinting, cat ears flattened atop her head as if she were a literal cat staring down prey, "Now, since it was your idea you dumb himbo, you can help me work out the rusty kinks I have, it's been a while since I used this crap." she bared her teeth, even as a yellow aura of powerful touki swept over her fist.
She swung down without hesitation.
And he caught the touki enhanced blow with his own touki enhanced palm. And just from that, he could feel the absurd difference in strength between this blow, and the ones she'd sent his way just minutes prior.
"Yeah, as I thought, you're strong." Kaito grinned excitedly up at the girl straddling him, before heaving and tossing her off of him and rolling to his feet
"So are you." Koneko replied as she landed, she moved-
No, she pounced towards him, her speed a far cry from what it was before. She still wasn't quite as fast as him-
But he couldn't casually dodge her blows now.
A barrage of fists aimed at his upper body were parried, before he caught the last one in the crook of his arm and pulled her into him, towards a rising knee aimed for his chest.
Yet with unnatural limberness, Koneko placed one hand on his knee and pushed straight up into a rising hand stand kick aimed at his chin.
If he wasn't faster than her, he'd have taken the hit, instead his palm smashed into her back and sent her flying.
She flipped through the air and landed on all fours, cat tails standing straight up over her backside
"You really are a monster huh? Even with my true form and Touki, you're still faster and stronger than me," Koneko licked her lips, "You haven't even busted out those Sacred Gears of yours."
Kaito laughed, delighted. Was this the first time he'd actually gotten to spar with someone on his level physically like this? "I've got more than just them." he shot back.
He drew on his dragon aura to enhance his body even further, combining it with his touki.
And as he did, Koneko shuddered noticeably as she took in the blazing crimson glow shimmering over his body, "That's hot."
Kaito guffawed, "Careful, between that and the fact you keep calling me a himbo, I might just think you're into me," he winked at her, "Maybe Yanagi wasn't far off?"
"You forgetting who called who gorgeous just a little bit ago?" Koneko launched herself at him, the force of her blow when he caught it making his feet dig trenches into the ground, "I ain't scared to admit you're good looking Evander, and those muscles are something else. Maybe I'll take you for a spin myself and stick it to that cow chested sow? You did say she saw me as her biggest threat yeah?"
"Oh?" Kaito ducked as she whirled into a devastating swerving pair of kicks with her lens, pushing her off him, then sweeping her legs from underneath her, only for her to latch onto his arms with her tails and yeet herself into him and sending them tumbling down a hill, smashing through multiple rocks on the way down, "I thought you weren't interested in my man meat, as you called it?" he teased as he landed on top of her at the bottom, pinning her beneath him.
"I'm a cat and a devil, I lied you dumb twit," Koneko gave him a smug look, "Besides, you can't say a pervy himbo like you doesn't like the idea. You were the one just telling me that white haired cat girls with gold eyes are the sexiest, well here you've got one pinned beneath you."
Her words were so surprising, he loosened his grip a bit, and immediately her tails curled around him, wrapping around his midsection. With a burst of strength, she heaved, and tossed him into the air, before following him and tackling him in mid air.
She landed atop him and smirked down at him, "What's wrong himbo, get a bit weak in the knees from a little flirting?"
"Little bit...I was not expecting this turn around from you," Kaito admitted, "I wasn't expecting you to be quite this playful or flirty."
"Oh Evander, you dumb fuck," Koneko shook her head, "I just decided on something. Besides, this is just me taking your advice. I ain't holding back anymore, it was never just my true form I was holding back, it was everything."
"Everything?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Weren't you complaining earlier about your instincts from turning yourself into a part dragon?" Koneko gave him a coy grin.
"You heard me talking to Rias earlier?" his eyes widened.
"Yeah, I was around, before going to get some training in while waiting for you to finish up with Asia and the useless pervert. I might have hidden my true form, but my senses were always still active, including my cat like hearing," she winked, and the simple action from Koneko stunned him slightly, "See, I've got a bit of the same issue. I've been a bad bad kitty spending so much time outside my true form, I'm not used to all my nekoshou instincts being fully active again.
"Ah...." Kaito hummed, before nodding and grinning, "Yeah, now that you mention it, you do remind me of a hyper cat right now."
Koneko giggled, and the sound was a little alarming considering how rarely he'd seen her smile, let alone laugh or giggle, "I feel so hyper," she said, her tails curling and uncurling, "But, you know, I feel good. It's not just my true form, but something about you. It's making me feel more...everything. Stronger, braver...and now that I've stopped holding back, free."
'That would be your Dragon Aura infused with the principles of Domination.' Ddraig helpfully commented.
...So it could even bring about something like this huh? It was slightly alarming he wasn't got lie.
'It's fine, it's not like you're mind controlling the girl or something. It wouldn't be able to do something like this without her feeling at least some of this at her core. Even your Dragon Aura enhanced as it is couldn't create these feelings, only influence and nurture.' Ddraig assured him, 'Besides, it's working in tandem with her not being used to her own instincts, that's why it's such a big sudden shift, she'll calm down a bit once she gets more used to it.'
That was good at least. He'd hate to think he could accidentally control people with his aura.
Still, he should probably nip this in the bud before this went the same way as Asia, he wasn't sure he could hold himself back a second time.
