"We are gathered here to celebrate the coming of my daughter's coronation! Ebony has been working towards this her entire life. I believe-No I know that she won't disappoint our country." The speech made me feel like I was going to fail even more than I was before.
As it is my coronation, I had to offer a toast to my royal guests. However, I had no idea what to say. I subconsciously took to my feet and and blinked away any tears that had started to form.
"My fellow people, I stand before you in this time of importance. The day will soon come where I shall ascend to the throne. Our country has always believed that leadership should be fair and justified." Short sweet and to the point Eb.
"I believe that one day, we will have peace between the two kingdoms. However, that day may not come for many years." As I spoke, my hands started to warm up. "Hello. My name is Ebony. Today was a day of much resent. However, I come forward to tell you that our Kingdom does not stand alone. I might not be your Queen yet, but I am Miraga's daughter. I am Princess Ebony of Naev! Together we fight!" I finished.
Then I heard my mother's desperate cry.
We all know how that went. It wasn't too far from hell in the kingdom. Immediately after my father sulked to my mom's side, I was pulled away and sent to my room to pack.
