No matter-
Daiki launched himself after her, a blitzing bolt of lightning, revolving towards her in a buzzing frontal flip like a buzz saw and lashing out with an overhead kick, bringing his heel down towards the top of her head.
And then changing his moment once more with a blast from his Dimension Force Seal, the shock wave turning him around completely, from spinning vertically, to horizontally.
Tsunade's eyes widened again in realisation in a split moment, her arm coming up and guarding the blow, but it didn't stop the lightning enhanced kick from blasting her back down into the outskirts outside the town with a thunderous boom.
Daiki touching down behind her a moment later, arms crossed as he looked down into the crater she was kneeling in, "…So you aren't all talk." Tsunade commented idly, shaking her hand out. Her green jacket had been utterly vaporized and the arm she blocked with, was discoloured with bruising.
She stood, completely unbothered, and without even making a hand seal, green chakra shimmered around her arm, healing it in the blink of an eye.
"Did you think the old man would make me the next in line to be Hokage if I were?" Daiki fired back.
Even if he was somewhat impressed in spite of himself. Between his base jinchuuriki form, the lightning chakra mode and heavenly star seal, she was able to keep up even after being out of shape.
Not to toot his own horn, but even the old man hadn't taken him lightly during their spars when he went that far.
And the old man definitely wasn't out of shape despite his age.
"I suppose not, another freak has been born huh?" Tsunade snorted, "Interesting though, those markings look just like Orochimaru's silly little curse seal, and if I'm not wrong, that's the lightning chakra mode of the Raikage's, just how did you get your hands on those?"
"I had a run in with your loser teammate like I said, and again I repeat, he's a loser. Getting rid of the problems with the cursed seal was easy for a non loser like me, I made it mine and improved on it," he boasted, "And as for the Raikage's technique, I read up about it, thought it would be useful and reverse engineered it after a few weeks, simple as that."
'You know, you speak such bullshit so casually, that sometimes I think you actually believe your own made up stories.' Isobu commented, amused.
"Another monstrous prodigy freak, not that it matters," Tsunade said, shaking her head, "You should tell the old man to piss off on giving you the hat. It's a death sentence kid. Besides the old man, everyone else who aimed for that hat or wore it, has died young."
Spoiler
Huh, this he did not expect.
Daiki let her words hang in the air for a moment, before raising a brow, "And?" he snorted, "That's simply the life of a ninja. The second you put on the headband you know your life will be on the line. And anyone who aimed to be Hokage, should be ready and willing to put their life on the line to protect the village."
She reared back as if struck, "You don't get it, you're too young. Kids like you, strong, prodigy or not, with your heads in the clouds and full of dreams, kids like you don't understand just what you're risking."
"And who says that? You?" Daiki snorted, "Sure I may be a kid, sure the most fatalities among ninja are young brats like me. But don't be so fucking arrogant to think only you understand and pity the likes of me!"
For some reason, her acting like the authority on it all, that pissed him off. A vision of a kindly old man flashed in his head, smiling gently, laughing warmly at his rough and disrespectful attitude, completely open and welcome. His warm, liver spotted wrinkled hand held out, offering him the chance to become his student, the chance to take up the hat himself.
"To be a ninja is to endure. And to be Hokage is to be the pillar that holds up the village, the villages greatest protector," he spat out, "No doubt you've known quite a few aiming to be Hokage who died young, but that means fuck all. Don't you dare fucking look down on the Hokage, and those aiming to reach the hat!"
He pointed straight at her, before blurring in a crackle of lightning and appearing in front of her, "I can guarantee your little brother, while he might have just been a little brat like me, was ready and willing to fight to the death for the village," he growled in her face, "And I won't let you whine about his death and insult him like that."
And then he punched her in the face.
Tsunade's face contorted around his fist, and like a ragdoll she was launched backwards, skipping up the hill of the crater, bouncing off the ground multiple times like a stone skipping across water before landing in a heap a few dozen feet away from the crater.
Daiki jumped up, landing at the top of the crater with a scowl on his face, "Someone like you, who has totally given up and let yourself go to this point, could never understand the pride of the Hokage," he snarled, thinking of the old man, and his quiet, sombre affection for the village, and his towering, broad pride filled shoulders that shone through even through his old and weakened body, and his gracefulness in turning down even the offer of being offered his youth back. The kind of man that carried the village on his shoulders for decades, and to allow her to run her mouth like she had and pity the likes of Niwaki, was to allow to her spit on everything the old man stood for, "My name is Daiki Yurei, And I am the man who will become the Hokage and carry the village hidden in the Leaf on my shoulders."
