"Hey, hey. Natalie wake up. When am I gonna see Margret?" Gooey asked, shaking me awake. I then sat up, tiredly turning to the big monster. "Gooeyyyyy, you have to stay in here till we are SURE it's your Margret. We'll try to get a picture from her office and show you, just to be sure." Maya groaned, rolling over in her bed. "That sounds like a good plan." I sighed, getting off my bed and getting ready for the day. We decided to leave Gooey here for the day to get more information from Margret without having a big fat bear in her office searching around her desk. Once we where done getting ready, we walked out the door. I slipped my head back through the door saying "Remember Gooey, stay here and don't move or break anything." I warned him. I the closed the door and we ran down the marble stairs. We then ran into the cafeteria and took a tray to the line.
Once we got our food which was french toast, again, we walked over to the table in the middle where Liam and Adrien where talking. I sat beside Liam while Maya sat beside Adrien. "We need to go back there tonight." Maya explained. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Liam yelled across the table. "THEY ARE THERE, I KNOW IT!" She yelled back. "You guys can go. I don't wanna die because of 8 stupid teenagers with bad attitudes and especially not by monsters." Liam groaned. "Fine, we don't need you." Maya sneered, folding her arms in anger.
"Look, another person who woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Adrien joked.
"Back at you, she yelled at Gooey this morning." I laughed.
"He did the same thing to Sally." Adrien sighed.
"No, poor cute Sally. Must be sad." I sighed too.
Adrien then burst out laughing and I looked at him puzzled.
"Sally has mixed personalities. She yelled at him that he almost cried." He breathed out, still weezing with laughter.
"Oh." I sighed, superised. "Hey Liam, you know we need you to come with us." I said, tapping his shoulder. "No we don't." Maya groaned. "YES, we do. We need you a lot." I sighed as he turned at me confused. "How?" He asked. "W-Well we need you cause your the smartest. You get us out of most trouble we get into." I explained. He smiled a little, making me know that he's calmed down.
"But, Maya is right. Gooey said he saw a group of students walk into the mansion so we have to search for them." I said. "Ok, fine. If you say so but, what is the plan. We can't just go into there again without a plan, that'll be stupid." Liam asked. "We have to come up with a plan but this time, once it's 11:00 pm, you boys come to our dorm." Maya ordered. "Why, so you guys can get there before us?" Adrien asked. "No. So we can create a plan, duh." Maya rolled her eyes. "Oh, ok then." Adrien sighed.
"Ok, Maya we have to get going to Mrs. Margret's office to find the picture." I recalled. "Oh yeah. No boys." Maya explained. "Aww, no fair." Adrien whined. I just laughed at him while Liam and Maya rolled their eyes. "Ok, we have to go. See ya later boys." I waved away as me and Maya ran out the cafeteria. We immediatly turned to the isle where the office was. We peaked through the window of the door and she wasn't there. "Ok, I'll go and check for any evidence while you stay here and keep check whether she's coming." I explained to Maya. She just nodded.
I quickly opened the door and slid in while Maya stayed outside as a guard. I quickly ran over to the drawers and checked every crook in it but no picture. Then I thought, 'If their friendship was forbidden, she must have hidden their picture someone no one will ever look.' . But where was what I was thinking. I then came across a paper hidden beneath the wall of the desk. Before I could even unfold it I heard Maya whisper 'SHE'S ON HER WAY DOWN THE HALL, HIDE'. I quickly ducked into a cupboard, securing the door.
I heard from out the cupboard;
'What do you mean Maya? I just gave you a new one yesterday.'
'Welll, I saw Li run down the Hall with it.'
'Li is a sweet girl, she won't just go around with your sketch book.'
'It's Natalie's sketch book she took. I promise.'
'Alright fine, let's go ask her.'
Margret and Maya then walked out the room and I sighed in relief. I decided to open the paper once Maya comes back. I walked out the cupboard and out the office. I ran to the Library, waiting for Maya. Once I saw her round the corner, I dragged her into the library. "Oh shit. Oh, just you. Did you find anything?" Maya asked.
"I found this piece of paper under the desk wall. I wanted to open it with you." I explained. "Well, let's open it now." She pressured, impatient. I opened the paper and it read 'Under the Willow tree'.
"Let's go check under the willow tree." Maya exclaimed. "Wait, where's the willow tree? I haven't seen any trees here, ever." I asked curiously. "It's in the far back of MAC. No one ever goes there so we'll be safe. Cmon." Maya pressured, taking hold of my hand and leading me deeper into MAC. I then saw spiral stairs that I'd never seen before. She dragged me down it with no hesitation and led me to the back of MAC where the willow tree was. We suddenly ducked under a rock as soon as we saw Mrs. Margret looking at a picture while resting on the willow tree. "I'll go to her." I said. Before Maya could even protest, I quickly got up and ran over to Margret and there it was, Gooey and Margret together. Margret was a cute little girl with red chubby cheeks and a cute dress on the neck of Gooey the Gober.
"So you DO know Gooey?" I asked. Mrs. Margret, starled, turned around as pure shook and confusion clouded her face. "You know Gooey?" She asked, hiding the picture behind her back. "Mrs. Margret, we do a lot of things at night you don't know about but, I'll explain later. Cmon." I took hold of Margret's hand and dragged her to Maya's rock. "We have to tell her. She has to know." I pressured, taking Maya's hand and leading them to the library. Once we where in, we locked the door and sat at a circular table after making sure no one was near.
"Ok so, let's get to the point. Gooey is in our room. We found him in the forbidden forest." Maya explained "You guys went to the forbidden forest? It's off limits. " Margret protested. "Well, to late to tell us now. We go there every night at 12:00 pm with Liam and Adrien plus, we found Sally the Slimet and now, we have Gooey who is looking for you so, we have your monster friend, your welcome." I blabbed out, annoyed with her tone. "Wait, you have Gooey. Let's go." Margret hurried. Hurrying out the door as we followed behind her. We ran after her to our room. I unlocked the door and gasped in horror. He was gone?
