"Don't worry, I won't be fooled again. Thanks to Qingxin earlier. Oh, by the way, how did Qingxin end up with Ye Qi? When did Ye Qi return?" Beiming Yu thought of Gu Qingxin and started looking for her in the banquet hall.
"…"
Mentioning Ye Qi and Gu Qingxin made Beiming Han very upset, but there were more pressing matters at hand—ensuring Beiming Yu's safety was the priority now.
"Even if you don't fall for it, if he brings this up again in such a setting, it will affect your campaign. You should head back; leave this to me," Beiming Han urged him.
"Yeah, Fourth Young Master, you should head back!" Huangfu Ye also advised him.
"Alright, I'll head out first. Be careful, this banquet is a trap set by Beiming Jue for the two of us. I've jumped over it, but you need to watch out! Huangfu Ye, take good care of your big brother!" Beiming Yu instructed uneasily.
"Fourth Young Master, don't worry."
Beiming Yu left first, escorted by his bodyguards.
