Ye Anxin lifted her head, looking at Ye Mu's small, concerned face for a moment before forcing a smile, "Mom, it's nothing; I just had a nightmare earlier! Dreamt of the days when we were chased by loan sharks, hiding and fleeing everywhere! Thinking about those days of not having enough to eat, I became scared! That's why I cried!"
Ye Mu seemed not to believe what she said, incredulously asked, "Really?"
Ye Anxin's smile widened, "Of course it's true! When have I ever lied to you!"
Seeing that Ye Anxin didn't appear to be lying, Ye Mu shamefully lowered her head, "Anxin, I'm sorry, it's Mom's fault! It's Mom who didn't give you a good father, making you live in fear all these years!"
