Richard stopped thinking further, after all, the deeper you dig into such matters, the more complicated they become, and the conspiracy might be unimaginably vast. He didn't have the time or energy to waste on it; the most important thing now was leaving Pompeii safely.
Looking at Long Mei'er, Richard spoke, "Supervisor, I can consider your suggestion. However, I'm afraid I can't develop a magic rune vehicle on my own. Maybe when I have an idea, I'll draft a blueprint and have interested wizards from the organization collaborate on the research. But that will have to wait until after I've made personal breakthroughs. For now, I want to try and see if I can solve the problems I'm currently facing in my research."
"Then I wish you success," Long Mei'er smiled and said, "I hope when you return to Pompeii, it will be with victory and joy."
