Qian Ning swallowed hard, struggling to maintain a smile as he watched Richard manipulate the flames. The four assistants were so afraid they nearly bent over double, constantly wiping the counter with their heads bowed, occasionally glancing at Richard with their eyes, then quickly withdrawing their gaze as if the flames in Richard's hand had scalded them.
Richard didn't care much for the reactions of Qian Ning and the four assistants, focusing more of his energy on the flames searing the gemstone powder.
