"Get back here!"
The old man barked angrily from behind, his face burning with rage as he pointed his aged finger at the parents being blocked at the gate:
"Open your eyes and take a good look! All the other parents are stopped outside and can't get in! But you? You just trot right on in like it's nothing. What, are you afraid people won't know this kindergarten is run by our family?"
On the first day of school, there were simply too many people, all kinds mixed together, and it was inevitable there'd be human traffickers pretending to be parents in the crowd.
Especially since this was a private elite school—kidnap any random kid, and if they pulled it off, the ransom would be at least a million!
There were bound to be traffickers and kidnappers desperate enough to take the risk!
So, adults were never allowed into the kindergarten.
Otherwise some "parent" might get inside, quietly knock out someone else's kid and run off with them.
