On top of that, the way she stood there, fearless, made Luna a bit wary. After all, people tend to bully the weak and fear the strong. She couldn't quite figure out what kind of person Scarlett was. "Did I provoke you? Why did you kick me?"
"Your boyfriend is too handsome. You're too ugly. You don't deserve to be with him," Scarlett said, flipping her hair and speaking to Carter, "How about considering a different girlfriend, handsome?"
Carter looked Scarlett over. She seemed older than him, but she was indeed beautiful, much prettier than short little Luna.
He said, "Sister, don't joke with me."
Though he was verbally refusing, it was clear he was already infatuated.
Luna, standing aside, watched as Carter not only didn't speak up for her but was also bewitched by Scarlett. She was furious, "Carter Kane!"
