Checking his time as he reaches down stairs, seeing it was ten fifty-eight. Hearing Diandra call out to him, "Alex, have you taken your medication?"
'Dear God, I had completely forgotten.' Turning he runs up the stairs, almost to the top when he heard a loud noise.
Turning in the direction it came running down, Knowing her heard the noise as though it came from Sam room. Entering Sam room, seeing a window glass broken and Diandra was on the floor and her hand was covered with blood.
"Honey, what happen?" Kneeling down beside her, Alex grabs a towel cleaning the blood to see where she was hurt. "Sweetheart, open your eyes, Diandra, please open your eyes."
Alex realized she had fainted, but her hand wasn't cut or hurt anywhere.
Lifting her head to see if she had hurt her head. Calling her name, but Alex continues looking to see where she was hurt.
Feeling the tears running down his face, afraid she must have fallen and hurt herself.
When he turns her seeing the blood under her foot, Alex lift her up but then his eyes glimpse a hand on the floor behind the bedhead.
Resting her on the sofa, Alex went to see who it was. Observing immediately the person was covered with blood.
"What is going on? And who is this person? Oh God how did he get inside the house?"
Calling Sergeant Gomez to come immediately, and instruct Melissa to inform the police to be at his home right now.
'Now, I will have to delay my visit to the station.'
Feeling the intruder wrist, Alex get a pulse beat, "Oh God, he is still alive," grabbing the curtain tie, Alex then hurry and tie his hand, then call the doctor to check Diandra.
"All I want to know is what happen, and why is she covered in blood. And how did she faint or is she hurt badly?"
Taking her up the stairs, when he thinks about the child, 'Oh God, where is he?'
Hurrying up the stairs with Diandra, but the pain was excruciating in his left arm.
Afraid for the child to see his mother in this condition. Resting her down and rush for the pain killer. Fulling just half glass of water and drink down the two tablets, feeling the pain was so intense.
He hurried out of the room to find the child, hearing the child crying as he run down the stairs.
Going to Sam room hearing him pounding the closet door. Seeing the latch in the door, Alex unlatch it and grab him up in his arm, seeing the tears as he keeps calling his mummy.
"Your mummy is in the room; Papa will take you to your mummy right now."
"Papa bad man, he push, my mummy."
Seeing the tears, thinking at that moment if she fell and the baby got hurt, but how did she hide Joash and she had fallen?'
Anxious for the doctor to reach, Alex puts him next to his mother, then went to look out for the doctor.
Seeing Gomez at the gate, Alex switch of the alarm. Pressing the gate to open but it wasn't opening, "What the hell is going on?"
Hurrying out to see if it was stock, seeing a piece of steel behind the wheel.
Realizing it could not move, about to rest his hand on the gate when Sergeant Gomez step out calling to him to stop.
Asking Alex to step away, then he throws his penknife on the gate seeing it spark.
Alex jumping back knowing if he had held the gate, he would have gotten burn in his hand.
'Meaning that the gate wasn't secure when he thought it was. Just supposed when I was demonstrating the person block it, maybe that is how he enter?
Oh God he enter when I close the gate, when I think it was secure it wasn't. So when I think I was switching of the alarm I actually put it on.'
Fear builds up knowing his family is at risk, though matter how he tries to protect them.

Sergeant Gomez seeing him sweating on his forehead, as he dabs his face, feeling like any moment he will faint.
Calling to him, "Major, take some deep breath and press the alarm quickly."

Seeing Sergeant Gomez rest his baton on the gate getting no friction. He then reaches down and removes the steel and the gate slide open.
At that moment Alex close his eyes and lean against the wall, but then he remembers the person in Sam's room and Diandra unconscious in the bed.'
Taking some deep breath, knowing he can't faint neither rest. Instructing Sergeant Gomez to go to the room on the right of the step.

Alex asks him to hurry, leading the way up the stairs. Shouting to Sergeant Gomez, "To check the room downstairs to the right of the step, noticing he was still standing and hasn't gone to the room.
Throwing the keys to him as he hurried up, entering his room, seeing Diandra in tears as she hugs the child in her arm.
Hearing her saying what had happen when Dr. Ferguson just give her and injection to calm her down.
"Now take some deep breaths and tell me where is hurting?" When her eyes close and she rest her hand on her stomach.
Alex sits abruptly on the bed, in tears he held her hand, as fear consume him for the unborn baby.
