When he steps out the kitchen "I am a terrible cook, I can't even boil eggs."
Hearing her laughing any thought of sulking he had disappeared immediately. "I hope you see why I don't buy groceries.

"Okay, you have abuse yourself enough, just give me a minute, then I will see what I could salvage out of the bon, bon."
"Thank you so much, now I will take a shower in the mean while."
"Yeah, you do that."
In the kitchen Diandra remove the shell, cutting out the part that was badly burned. Knowing it wasn't sufficient she put up a frying pan drizzling some olive oil.
Taking out a few slices of sausage and place it in the frying pan, giving it a few second then flip it over and then remove.
Washing some lettuce leaves, slice a tomato. chipping an onion When Alex enters the kitchen standing at her side, "Now direct me what to do and I will help you."
"Me, you want to help me?"
Hearing her laugh, "Okay, I will help you make my sandwich."
Instructing him to get the bread and to lay it out, "I will make one and you can follow me that way you will learn to make yourself your own meal."
Following her Alex fix his sandwich, he was going to fix two more for the both of them when Diandra said, "Alex what are you going to do?"
"I was going to fix two more for us, I am hungry."
"Sorry, I will only have one, you can make for yourself."
Before I know what, she was going to do she took it up and sink her teeth into it. "Can I have a bite please?"
"Sorry you made your own, so eat it."
"Please, when I taste your then I will know if mine is the same."
"What nonsense you talking about," but Alex holding her hand pulling it by his mouth taking a big bite. Hearing her snapped at him.
"Now watch what you have done, you have almost finish my sandwich?"
"You can taste mine and tell me if it taste like yours?"
Seeing she sit down with the remaining sandwich and her juice, as she just sips her juice and continue eating. Smiling Alex made his sandwich and sit opposite of her.
The first mouthful he takes he began coughing, reaching out he took her juice and drink it out. "What is wrong with you?"
When he began coughing again Diandra hurried and get another juice. "Thank you."
Seeing him smiling, "You think this is a joke?"
"Will you just calm down and the food got stuck in the wrong pipe, what did you expect me to do?"
Seeing her stood up and look at him then began walking up and down. Alex knew he had provoked her but she was really angry now.
Ignoring her as he eats his sandwich leaving half for her, getting another juice and rest it next to the sandwich he was eating.
Without looking he stood up bouncing her, grabbing her before she fell. Seeing the tears in her eyes.
Alex hug her saying, "Sorry, I have hurt you and I didn't realize my provoking will make you angry.
Will you please forgive me? Come and finish your meal and I have replaced your juice"
Unable to believe what happen when she hugs him, Alex knew this embrace was different, he could feel she was hurting but not for what just happen. her crying was unbearable.
"Sweetheart, what is wrong, is the foot paining?" When her hold tighten Alex just hug her.
"Aye there is no need to cry if you recalled I only had one doughnut so I was really hungry."
Feeling the nod on his chest then she said, "I am sorry but sometimes I have those craving that goes with a mood swing."
"Okay, I understand next time I will make an extra effort that I don't get on your wrong side."
"Yeah right, we are always fighting."
"Then tell me how can we stop doing that? And I will try to avoid any misunderstanding."
"Alex, when we were separated there were no need to fight, that is the only explanation."
Spinning her around, "I don't think you mean that Diandra, yesterday we had a wonderful time together, and today is turning out pretty good as well."
"I supposed, so let us try and keep it that way."
When she sit and take up the sandwich and started eating, "You know this juice taste very good Diandra?"
"I know, why do you think I bought it?"
Smiling when he took the juice once more and drink the last from the pack. Wanting to know why she was smiling, when she said, "You said I was greedy earlier, but you are just as bad."
"Then we are made for each other, now come on and let me check your foot? I notice when I woke up the sheet was soil.
Then we can go for a drive, we still have to celebrate the completion of the house."
"Yeah, you are right but I will need to comb my hair, and my foot need to be elevated a bit, when it is down for too long it swells, maybe later we will see."
Seeing him nod Diandra went and take a glass of ice cream, and when for him to attend to her foot, as she eat her ice cream.
Looking at her as she eats, 'Was she speaking the truth about her mood swing? I have never seen her behave that way before.'
Going back in his mind recalling, 'She was angry when I rebuke Johnny for her climbing, and that day she went walking in the evening she was very angry with me?
She is right we are always quarrelling about small things, but she seems edgy about something, I wonder what that could be?'
